So..how to choose a good sunblock??
first of all...look for sunblocks with higher SPF and more +++.the higher SPF provides you with better protection against sunlight..but also we want other properties like sweat-proof,water-proof,non-comedogenic,etc2. while some sunblocks offers higher spf than others it doesn't necessarily mean they are better as a whole..For oily, trouble prone skin it would be better to choose sunblocks that are non-comedogenic ,water-based and sweat proof.. for normal-dry skin oil based sunblocks would be the best type since it can add the little more moisture you're looking for.
these are a couple of sunblocks i've tried
i started out using sunplay watery cool spf 65PA+++ and it's pretty awesome..i think it protects my skin quite well.(my face doesn't tan easily). It's water based so it doesn't add extra oil/shine to my face after using it.i would usually top it with a losse powder still.. and what i love the most...it feels great! super cooling and fresh ..like i wash my face with mint soap.LOL
after i finished with 2 bottles of watery cool sunplay i changed to superplay superblock (SPF 130PA+++) and i can't say i see anything different..it works just similarly like the watery cool...minus the refreshing minty feel that i missed :(
so next,,just out of curiosity,,i bought the neutrogena one..(SPF50+ PA+++) the spf are lower...i know.. but they did offers some intresting properties like dermatologist tested(i'm weak for these.LOL),has Helioplex which stabilize sunblock,PABA free, waterproof, sweat proof and resist rub-off..it's also the NO1 sunblock in US..(written on the box)?!. however ..i used these for swimming once and my skin get's tanned like crazy after just 5 minutes..so..u be the judge .. :(
conclusion? i would still say sunplay watery cool is my absolute favourite..with superblock coming close and neutrogena finally.
p/s: all these result are my personal experience..it might vary for others...so.good luck beauties!!
